Tottenham attach a price tag of £45m to Kyle Walker as his future remains undecided

Tottenham Hotspurs

Despite the immense success experienced in North London this season, there have been talks of several players looking for the way out of Tottenham Hotspur this summer in search of a club who can give a bigger boost to their bank account.

Some of the players that fall on the list include England internationals Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Kyle Walker. The latter has been heavily linked to several clubs include Manchester United and Manchester City.

And, a report credited to Daily Mail stated that Spurs could be open to negotiate with any club willing to offer his price tag of £45m.

The 26-year-old haven’t been a regular starter at Spurs as of late, having been replaced with another right-back Kieran Trippier in some games, and there have been rumors of discord between Walker and the Spurs coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Trippier have been placed above Walker in a lot of big games in the past month including, the FA Cup Semi Final against Chelsea; the North London Derby against Arsenal and last Sunday’s defeat of Manchester United at the White Hart Lane.

It has been rumoured that Pochettino now sees former Burnley full-back Trippier as his first choice for the right side of defence.

Walker has played over 220 games for Spurs since joining from Sheffield United back in 2009, making him one of the longest serving players in the Spurs first team.

Walker is also a member of England international team with 25 caps to his name and represented his homeland at last year’s European Championships in France.

However, Mauricio Pochettino is known for promoting youngsters when he sees a promising one and may see 20-year-old full-back Kyle Walker-peters as the future of Tottenham.

Walker would have probably appeared for his side against Leicester City on Thursday night, if he had not been in Korea with the England U20s ahead of the U20s World Cup.
