According to reports, Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor is expected to be the biggest pay per view event in sports history tomorrow night. This will likely be the last time that Mayweather Jr. who is undefeated in his professional boxing career and a five-division world champion steps into the ring, and we shall see if the American professional boxer can finish off his career with a perfect 50-0 record. McGregor on the other hand will be making his professional boxing debut, but he enters the ring with an impressive 21-3 Mixed Martial Arts record.
So the tension of this situation is increasing the already high interest in this fight.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is a huge fan of the fight game, but this one is just taking place too late for the Portuguese manager to stay up and watch it live. The fight is scheduled to start at 6pm local time in Las Vegas (which of course probably means an actual commencing around 7:30 or 7:40). In Manchester, England the fight will start at 2am, so Mourinho says he will watch it when he wakes up on Sunday morning.
Mourinho was asked about the fight today during his weekly news conference today and he admitted that he had a dream, or you could say a vision about the outcome of the much ballyhooed event.
“My dream was it started as a boxing fight and ended in a different way, both showing their qualities in a real fight, not just boxing,” Mourinho said.
“It’s too late for me, I have to sleep and then the next morning I will look at it.”
