With recent struggle in the team and failure make a successful title defend, Premier League Champions Chelsea, are rumored to be preparing to launch a bid of €135 million for Real Madrid Star Marco Asensio in the coming summer, according to several reports in form Don Balon.
The reports states that the Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is with the idea of selling, but with Zinedine Zidane not believing in what Asensio could bring to Madrid squad, the player could force his way out of Spain in the summer.
Asensio, after being scouted by Barcelona and Real Madrid, eventually joined the Los Blancos in November 2014 from RCD Mallorca for a reported fee of €3.9 million, and was later loaned back to Mallorca for the 2014/15 campaign.
Asensio breakthrough season was 2015/16, when he was on a loan spell with Espanyol and bagged himself 4 goals and 12 assists for the Spanish club and returned to Santiago Bernabeu at the end of season.
Reports claims, Chelsea are very keen on the Attacking midfielder if Eden Hazard the club in the summer. The Blues striker Alvaro Morata has already sung praises of Asensio and now the English club will be more than willing to splash a huge sum on the Spanish player to land him in the team.
He has not been getting the game time he has been anticipating from the Los Blancos as he could only register himself nine appearances this season. The 22-year-old is said to be frustrated about his lack of appearances and will be seeking a move in the summer.
Real Madrid, who has been linked with Chelsea playmaker Hazard in the past, could be eying up a swap deal for Marco Asensio, should the reports prove to be true.
Both Chelsea and Real Madrid have not put up a good display on performance as they both sit 4th in their league, should the transfer go through could this mean a succession for both clubs or one will lose.
