Arsenal’s and Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has finalizes a second loan move to Serie A side Roma, according to a report.
Italian media outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport also claim that the Gunners and the Italian club have agreed the terms of the Polish goalkeeper deal on Wednesday morning.
The Italian publication also claims that the Gunners goalkeeper has been in London waiting upon Roma and his side to thrash out terms but is now set to leave the Emirates to Boston in joining up with the Serie A side as part of the Italian giants pre-season tour at the United States.
Szczesny has spent the 2015-16 loan in Italy at Roma, notching up 34 appearances under both Rudi Garcia and Luciano Spalleti as the club finished third in the ranking table.
The Polish’s route back into the Gunners starting xi has been blocked by former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, with the Gunners manager Arsene Wenger willing to stick with the veteran goalkeeper as his number one choice next season.
Szczesny himself has publicly stated his desire in returning back to Roma and has praised the Spallet’s coaching staff as superior to that of the Gunners backroom team.
He has been capped 27 times by his country, started out at Legia Warsaw before moving to Arsenal aged 16 and has subsequently made 181 senior appearances under Arsene Wenger.
The former Brentford loanee was included in Poland’s Euro 2016 squad but made only one appearance after falling down the pecking order behind former Arsenal teammate Lukasz Fabianski.
