Chelsea playmaker Charly Musonda has landed in Glasgow, and looks certain to finalize his medicals and to sign on the dotted line in time to play Celtic’s game against Hearts.
According to reports from the Daily Record, the Belgium international will seal an 18-month loan deal with the Scottish champions.
The same tabloid has now hinted – on Twitter – that Musonda has landed in Glasgow to compete his move.

Musonda joined Chelsea in 2012 and is highly rated by the London club. However, with Chelsea currently parked with stars in the midfield, it is hard for the Belgian youngster to nail a regular playing time.
The 21-year-old has shown flashes of brilliance of Chelsea whenever he has got opportunity. Joining Celtic will do a world of good for his career, as he is expected to take his game to the next level under Brendan Rodgers’ watch.
A host of Premier League teams have shown interest in the player, but Musonda has made the right decision by joining the Scottish champions.
The signing of Musonda will not be Celtic’s last transfer piece of the winter. The club move for Dundee’s Jack Hendry seems to be alive and still on-going. The injury to Craig Gordon means a temporary replacement between the sticks is inevitable. There might even be players leaving the club in the next 48 hours. But the move for the Chelsea youngster is the one everyone have been waiting for. Congrats to everyone at Celtic who worked to make this happen.
