Tottenham Hotspur won against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday at the Wembley Stadium.
Arsenal fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reach to the performance of the arch-rivals performance against the Champions League holders.
Tottenham Hotspur got better of the La Liga champions with ease at home in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
Mauricio Pochettino‘s men took the lead on 27 minutes when Spurs and England international midfielder Dele Alli found the net.
The ex-Milton Keynes Dons youngster doubled the lead against Real on 56 minutes with assist from Eric Dier and Christian Eriksen made it 3-0 in the 65th minute.
However, Cristiano Ronaldo pulled one back for his side 10 minutes from full time, but there was no comeback for Zinedine Zidane‘s side at the Wembley Stadium in London. Borja Mayoral provided the assist for Ronaldo’s goal.
The win against reigning La Liga champions means that Tottenham have progressed to the last-16 round of the Champions League from Group H.

Spurs hammering Madrid just shows how far we really are behind and that everyone’s improving around us..and we’re stuck on the same level.

My heart weeps watching spurs play like they did against RM. It really does, especially in terms of the quality of football. #afc

Spurs acting like this is going to be good for them. It only means more injuries and drop out of the top 4 in the PL. #weak #bottlejobs
