Selling Samir Nasri and Serge Gnabry Was A Huge Mistake By Arsene Wenger

Arsenal

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has always been main subject for his trans plans as he has failed to bring to his rank most of his transfer targets in his 20 years reigns at the Emirates. The French boss has been linked to some of the most-talented prospect during his time at the Emirates, but he has not been able to get his hands on most such targets, leaving him empty handed.

As if this issue was not enough, Wenger has also fond the habit of letting go a fair number of players leave the club. Just to mention, there are a number of star players who have been taking their new sides by storm after leaving the Emirates and surely, languishing at 6th place in the EPL table, the Gunners would be missing most of them. Though Wenger might not admit it, here are two players he should never have sold.

Serge Gnabry (Werder Bremen)

Serge Gnarby

One of most rising prospect at the moment, Serge Gnabry is a product of the Arsenal academy, but he failed nailed and have an impact at the Emirates and was shipped out on a permanent basis last summer to German side Werder Bremen. Gnabry spent loan at Hawthorns the season before and never really got a chance to prove himself under Arsene Wenger.

However, he has creating a shining role for Werder Bremen having bagged 10 goals in 22 appearances and creating 2 chances for his teammates. He cost very less but now looks an exciting aspect for the future. Surely, its believed that the French manager would have done better having such player around with him at the Emirates.

Samir Nasri (Manchester City)

Samir Nasri

Here’s another player who Arsene Wenger did not really do enough to keep hold of at the Emirates. Samir Nasri joined the Gunners back in 2008 at a young age, bagging 18 goals in his 86 appearances for the North London club. He was shipped out of the Emirates in 2011 and went on to make more than 100 appearances with Manchester City.

However, he has not really been productive in terms of scoring goals but was an important player at the Etihad Stadium in their first title-winning campaign. Although Nasri was not 100% consistent for Arsenal, his experience in the game would have gone a long way in negating the current situation the Emirates outfit are in. He is now a wanted man under Pep Guardiola but it is too late to even think about re-signing.
