Now official, Chelsea and Spanish international Diego Costa is the top scorer of the Premier League and his scoring and creating abilities are distinctive in the league top flight.

In fact, the Spaniard has been involved in more superb goals than nine Premier League clubs have managed to score all season.

Costa, 28, pounced on a loose ball in the box to stroke the Blues opening goal against Middlesbrough and the goal took Costa to ten in the league this season and Chelsea top of the league.

The striker who turns 28-year-old earlier last month is the first attacker to reach double figures and with three assists already to his name. Costa has been involved in more goals than any player in the Premier League this season.

More than any player in the likes of Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho, Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, and the Brazil born forward has sealed his name as the goal machine in the Premier League so far.

The relegations strugglers Swansea and Sunderland still remains among the nine clubs that have failed to score a goal in 13 matches this campaign, while Hull City squad are matching Costa’s personal tally of ten.

The Boro’s Costa lined up against on Sunday, has also failed to get more than ten goals this season before kickoff.

This is incredibly an awesome season for the Spanish frontman.
