Liverpool managed to pull off an unlike victory against Stoke City in their previous Premier League match in the absence of Divock Origi but Brazilian duo Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino found the back of the net after coming into the match as an half-time sub. However, since having taken three crucial points, the Reds will have to back it up with three more points against the Baggies this weekend, if they are to win all three points and nail a place in the top-4 this season.

The Reds have been not really been impressive against Tony Pulis’ in the domestic league this season and they have won just 2 of their last 6 meeting between the two sides, with their last 3 games ended in a deadlock. West Brom are healing from a loss to Southampton at home but will hope to put in a nice performance and the Merseyside will have to be at their full best to get anything from this game.

Team News:

As far as the squad news is concerned, they are still without the service of Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson. However, the good news is that, the duo are not too far away from getting back into the team. Also, Daniel Sturridge is fit and remains to be seen if he will start this game while Senegalese, Sadio Mane remains out of action for the rest of the season.

CB – Dejan Lovren

The Croatian defender has grown in confidence since his come-back from a small absence and he should partner Joel Matip at the back for Liverpool.

CB – Joel Matip

The Cameroon international has been really active at the back for his side and his consistent and ability will be tested this weekend against the likes of Salomon Rondon.

CB – Ragnar Klavan

Though Klavan was not at his best the other night for Liverpool, he has been solid for the Reds this season and Klopp will hope that he puts in an impressive performance as a part of the back-3.

LM – James Milner

The midfielder was pushed into his natural role in the first half against the Potters but he should be back at left flank when they take on Stoke City.

CDM – Emre Can

The German international will play in the deep part for the Reds and will have a huge role to play if Liverpool are to win this crucial game.

CM – Georginio Wijnaldum

The Dutch international midfielder has a tough test against Stoke and he is expected to start against West Brom ahead of Can in the midfielder for Liverpool.

Philippe Coutinho started the comeback in the previous game for Liverpool, y coming off the bench and Coutinho is expected to start this game in a slightly deeper role.

Jurgen Klopp’s change to a 3-5-2 lineup will see the Brazilian playing a central role, but Firmnino should work in the space behind Divock Origi, by playing in the hole between the midfield and forward line.

The Belgian international star has been in superb form for the Reds and he should keep Daniel Sturridge on the bench for this trip to the Hawthorns.
