Atletico Madrid’s Yannick Ferreira Carrasco on 28th May of 2016 scored in the 2016 UEFA Champions League final, not a feat any other Belgian can put a claim to as he is the only Belgian to have scored in a European Cup final.

Carrasco began his career with Belgian Junior club before he joined Monaco in 2010. Monaco had been relegated to the French Second division at the time he joined and he helped the club achieve top-tier promotion in his debut season. His admirable performance at the Stade Louis II paved way for him at Atletico Madrid where he has been a huge success. The winger has been highly impressive as he has goals including a hat-trick in a 7-1 win against Granada to his name.

His excellent form has caught the eye of many big clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Bayern Munich and they have all been trying to win the Belgian over for his unrivaled skill as a winger.

Chelsea has shown more interest in signing Carrasco than all other clubs. Chelsea has had top notch performance this season and to keep from deviating, they have to add more strength to their squad.

Yannick Ferreira Carrasco would be a much needed addition to the blues as the club is short of backup winger with Willian being the only backup for three Chelsea attackers.

The 23-year-old Winger who can also play as a wing-back would definitely bring improvement to the blues. He is a fine dribbler and crosser of the ball, all attribute that would support Striker Diego Costa.

His skillfulness will be a bonus to any club he decides to join, but Antonio Conte should be on the frontline to take away every competition and lure him to Stamford Bridge. Carrasco would be glad to join his fellow Belgian teammates Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard and Michy Batshuayi if Batshuayi should decide to stay on in the club.
