Reigning champions Leicester City saw their Algerian international winger Riyad Mahrez games named as the ‘PFA player of the Year’ for the 2015/16 season but who is likely to follow the lead this season? Here are the top 5 nominees for the ‘PFA Player of Year’ award for the current season.
Romelu Lukaku (Everton):
Beast of a striker! Romelu Lukaku is the EPL top goal scorer at the moment, he seems to get better game by game this season. He already has 21 goals to his name this season, becoming the first player from Everton to reach that mark in the Premier League. The former Chelsea forward has provided 6 assists to his name. At age 23, Lukaku is easily of the best players this season and is a genuine contender for this award.
