Man United Outcast Sends Signal To Mourinho Ahead of Arsenal Clash

He was signed for £26 million but his best place has always been the bench. He has not really been given the chance to prove himself at Old Trafford but his performance in his country World Cup qualifier has got Man united fans talking and questioning Jose Mourinho decision to limit him to the bench.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan was a playmaker at Borussia Dortmund and one of the best players in the Bundesliga last season but regarded has as a “mediocre” at United.

However, he put up a spectacular performance in Armenia qualifying match against Montenegro- their first win of the 2018 World Cup qualifying series and their win in three years- and it has triggered reactions from the United faithfuls.

Armenia came from two goals down to win the match 3-2, taking them off the bottom of thetable to four points behind Montenegro who is topping the table.

The attacking midfielder was understandably missing in the first half due to his lack of playing time but grew into the game, showing Mourinho what he is missing by not playing him despite the club’s struggle in the final third.

And as exppected United fans have reacted to his impressive displays in the game. Mkhitaryan who captained his side against Montenegro has not featured for Man United since being snubbed at half-time against Man City back in September and has only managed five appearances so far this season.

He almost got his name on the scoresheet in the qualifying match and was a constant threat to the opposition.

United fans took to twitter to express their feelings about the Armenian situation urging Mourinho to start him against Arsenal next weekend.

It is still surprising as to why such amount of millions was spent on a player only for him to be confined to the bench. He arguably has what United is missing in attack and it is obvious he didnt become of the best in Bundesliga if he is not worth it.

Mourinho should utilize him in the right position and he will deliver.
