‘Jack is back!’ Arsenal fans react to Wilshere’s stunning Bournemouth performance vs Chelsea

Arsenal

Arsenal’s on loan playmaker Jack Wilshere performance for Bournemouth during the Cherries 3-1 defeat to Chelsea has got Arsenal fans’ tongues wagging.

Despite going down to goals from Diego Costa, Marcos Alonso and Eden Hazard, the England international ran the show in the midfield a times and gave Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante to underline his quality.

This is the second game in succession which Jack has played the full 90 minutes for the Cherries as he backed up his brilliant showing with another eye-catching cameo against Antonio Conte’s league leaders.

And after witnessing his latest star showing, Arsenal fans are urging the club to bring back their gifted on-loan midfielder for next season.

Recent speculations are suggesting the Gunners will finally seek to open talks with his representatives as they look to tie him to a new deal, but there are doubts over whether he will return to Emirates due to uncertainty about guaranteed first-team football with Manchester City sniffing around him.

Arsene Wenger’s side have been subject of numerous midfielder crisis this season, with French international Francis Coquelin’s form deserting him in Santi Cazorla’s absence with the Spaniard out with a long-term injury, Granit Xhaka has mainly been the enduring some maiden-season teething problems at the Emirates.

Egyptian Mohamed Elneny spent a month away at the African Cup of Nations, while Aaron Ramsey has been sidelined to series of injury this season.

Here’s the best of the reaction from Arsenal fans on social media:
