Chelsea are currently leading the Premier league with nine points and are looking for the title but they face the battle keep hold of their star striker Diego Costa at the end of the season.
The Spanish forward has contributed in no measure to the success of the Blues this season and he is their top scorer. Though they have also won matches in his absent but his contributions cannot be overlooked.
And it appears the Chinese Super League has succeeded in turning his head towards the Asian country with Tijan Quanjian having reportedly prepared a mega-money move for the forward in the summer which Chelsea is also reportedly ready to sanction.
That being said Antonio Conte is aiming to bring Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge as a replacement for Costa. The Chelsea manager is keen on signing a striker in the summer and has asked the club to bring back the Belgian forward.
Lukaku has been in impressive form for Everton this season, scoring 16 goals in 23 games in the league and assisting another four. He could be a perfect replacement for Costa having matured in his game.
The 23-year-old also has interesting stats so far this season. Aside from scoring, he has won 79 aerial duels, has 64 accurate shot, 49 successful take-ons and created 33 chances.
Lukaku was sent out on loan during his disappointing spell at Chelsea before being finally sold to Everton for £28 million by Jose Mourinho but he is now showing the quality of a striker that can perform at the big level.
He has always insisted that he has “unfinished business” at Chelsea and a return to the London club could be possible this summer.
